- buzzd is about what's going on right now at that bar, restaurant or club in your city, in your neighborhood or even the block you're on. The "buzzdmeter" ranks the hottest places based on real-time posts from Twitter, buzzd and other social networks, so you know who's there and what's happening. Join buzzd to rate places straight from your phone, connect with your friends, broadcast the "buzz" to Facebook & Twitter and, most importantly, earn great deals in your city...all in real time.

- buzzd can be used on any phone that has the mobile internet at http://buzzd.com/m. (Not sure if you have mobile internet? Contact your carrier before getting buzzd.) Additionally, buzzd is available in app form for the iPhone, iPod Touch, Android & BlackBerry. You can get buzzd on your phone at http://buzzd.com/download.
- Is there a buzzd application for Palm WebOS, Symbian or Windows Mobile?
- Coming soon. Real soon. In the meantime, go to buzzd.com/m on those platforms.
- What is the buzzdmeter™?
- The buzzdmeter is a tool that shows you how hot or ice cold a bar, restaurant or club. The ranking is determined by how many real-time posts from Twitter, buzzd and other social networks there are. You can sort the buzzdmeter by venues in your entire city, in your neighborhood or the block you're on.
- What is the nearby section?
- This is where you can find places that are right near your location.
- What is the feed section?
- This is where you can see who has posted a real-time update from a place in your city, most recently.
- What is the buzz it feature?
- A buzz is a real-time update posted from your phone at a bar, club, restaurant or event. A buzz can be a quick rating, a brief description of what's goin' on at a place right now or a photo taken from your phone inside the place. To buzz a place, click on the "BUZZ IT" button in the apps. When you buzz a place, you have the option to post it to your Twitter account as well. - How does buzzd know my location?
- Depending on what device you have, buzzd can auto-detect your location to make your experience faster & easier. On iPhones, buzzd uses the GPS. On BlackBerrys, buzzd uses cell-tower triangulation. On the mobile web, you have to set your location manually.
- How do I change my notification & privacy settings?
- Go to: http://buzzd.com/profile/settings
- Can I connect buzzd to my Twitter account?
- Yes, you can. Connect your buzzd account to your Twitter profile so anytime you buzz, it shows up as a tweet with the bar, restaurant or event details. To connect your accounts, go to: http://buzzd.com/profile/connect (make sure you are logged-in).
- What happens when I use Facebook Connect on buzzd?
- Right now, you can use Facebook Connect to join and log into buzzd at a faster pace. When you use FaceBook Connect, buzzd brings in your Facebook profile photo & your profile name to your buzzd account so you don't have to.
- How do I invite friends to buzzd?
- You can invite friends by email or send an invite through twitter and facebook. You can invite them on this page: http://buzzd.com/friends/invite
- How do I upload a profile photo?
- You can upload a profile photo from your computer or from the BlackBerry app.

- If you'd like to add a place, event or make any changes our existing listings, please email .
- Why do you need my email address to join buzzd?
- Your email address is important so you can receive friend invites, account communication and our weekly newsletter which lets you know of new buzzd features. We only use your email address to provide the buzzd service. We don't share your information and we will never spam you. See our Privacy Policy for all the details.
